How Valorant sensitivity works

Valorant turns 0.07 degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1. That is about 3.18 times more than CS2 for the same number, which is why Valorant values look so small.

The field of view is locked at 103, so no FOV slider can change how your hipfire feels.

Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier is a separate setting. Leave it at 1 to keep zoomed aim proportional to hipfire.

To change it, open Settings > General > Mouse and edit Sensitivity: Aim. Enter the converted value exactly as shown above.

The formula behind this page is cm/360 = 914.4 ÷ (DPI × sens × 0.07). With 0.4 at 800 DPI that gives 40.8 cm for a full turn. You can check any setup with the cm/360 calculator.

Valorant sens converter FAQ

How do I convert my sensitivity to Valorant?

Pick your current game in “Convert from”, choose Valorant in “Convert to”, then type your sensitivity and DPI. The converter matches your 360° distance, so the same swipe turns you the same amount. For example, Counter-Strike 2 1.25 is 0.393 in Valorant at the same DPI.

What is 0.4 Valorant sens in CS2?

A Valorant sensitivity of 0.4 equals 1.27 in Counter-Strike 2 when you use the same DPI in both games. At 800 DPI that is 40.8 cm per 360° turn.

What is a good sensitivity for Valorant?

There is no single best value, but most players settle between 25 and 60 cm per 360°. In Valorant at 800 DPI that is a sensitivity of roughly 0.272 to 0.653. If you already aim well in another game, convert that sensitivity instead of starting from scratch.

Does changing DPI change my Valorant sensitivity?

Your real turn speed is DPI multiplied by sensitivity. If you double your DPI, halve your Valorant sensitivity to keep the same aim. Enter the new DPI in the converter and it does this for you.

Where do I change sensitivity in Valorant?

Open Settings > General > Mouse and edit “Sensitivity: Aim”. Type the converted number exactly as shown, then test it with a few slow 180° turns.

Is Valorant sensitivity the same as Windrose?

Yes. Valorant and Windrose use the same sensitivity scale, so the same number gives the same 360° distance at the same DPI. Only field of view and scoped settings can make them feel different.
