Yaw is how many degrees a game turns per mouse count at sensitivity 1. The last three columns show the sensitivity you need at 800 DPI for three common distances.

Where 914.4 comes from

A full turn is 360 degrees. Each inch of mouse movement sends DPI counts, and each count turns you sens × yaw degrees. So the inches needed for a full turn are 360 ÷ (DPI × sens × yaw). Multiply by 2.54 to get centimetres and the constant becomes 360 × 2.54 = 914.4.

You can also measure it by hand. Line your crosshair up with a mark in game, put a ruler next to your mouse, and move sideways until the crosshair comes back to the same mark. The ruler reading should match this cm/360 calculator within a few millimetres. If it does not, check that mouse acceleration is off.

Once you know your distance, the sens converter carries it into any other game, and the DPI calculator keeps it when you change mouse DPI.

cm/360 FAQ

What does cm/360 mean?

cm/360 is the distance in centimetres you have to move your mouse to turn a full 360° in game. A lower number means a faster sensitivity. Because it is a real-world distance, it is the same in every game and on every mouse.

How do I calculate cm/360?

Divide 914.4 by your DPI multiplied by your sensitivity and the game’s yaw value: cm/360 = 914.4 ÷ (DPI × sens × yaw). In Valorant the yaw is 0.07, so 800 DPI at 0.4 sensitivity is 914.4 ÷ (800 × 0.4 × 0.07) = 40.8 cm.

What is a good cm/360?

Most players use between 25 and 60 cm. Tactical shooters with small targets tend toward 40 to 60 cm, while fast tracking games tend toward 25 to 40 cm. Pick a distance your mousepad can handle: you should be able to turn 180° without lifting the mouse.

Why use cm/360 instead of eDPI?

eDPI only compares players inside one game, because every game has its own sensitivity scale. cm/360 works across all games. Two setups with the same cm/360 need the same swipe to turn around, no matter the game.

How do I convert cm/360 to inches?

Divide by 2.54. A distance of 40 cm per 360 is 15.7 inches per 360. The calculator shows both values.
