How to convert Fortnite sens to Valorant

  1. 1

    Find your Fortnite sensitivity

Open Settings > Mouse and Keyboard in Fortnite and note the value of X-Axis Sensitivity.

  2. 2

    Enter it in the converter

Type the value into the Sensitivity field above. Fortnite and Valorant are already selected.

  3. 3

    Set your mouse DPI

Enter the DPI you play at. Leave both DPI fields the same unless you use a different DPI in each game.

  4. 4

    Type the result into Valorant

Open Settings > General > Mouse in Valorant and set Sensitivity: Aim to the converted value.

The math behind it

Fortnite turns 0.005555° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and Valorant turns 0.07°. Dividing one by the other gives the multiplier: 0.005555 ÷ 0.07 = 0.0794.

Fortnite shows sensitivity as a percentage. Each 1% turns 0.005555 degrees per mouse count.

Set Y-Axis Sensitivity to the same percentage if you want vertical and horizontal aim to match.

Valorant turns 0.07 degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1. That is about 3.18 times more than CS2 for the same number, which is why Valorant values look so small.

The field of view is locked at 103, so no FOV slider can change how your hipfire feels.

Fortnite to Valorant FAQ

How do I convert Fortnite sensitivity to Valorant?

Multiply your Fortnite sensitivity by 0.0794. For example, 8 in Fortnite is 8 × 0.0794 = 0.635 in Valorant. This assumes the same mouse DPI in both games.

What is 8 Fortnite sens in Valorant?

8 in Fortnite equals 0.635 in Valorant at the same DPI. With an 800 DPI mouse both give 25.7 cm per 360° turn.

Do I need the same DPI in Fortnite and Valorant?

It is easiest to keep one DPI for every game. If you do use a different DPI in Valorant, enter it in the second DPI field and the converter adjusts the result.

Why does Valorant still feel different after converting?

The conversion matches hipfire turn speed. Fortnite and Valorant can still differ in field of view, movement speed and how scoped or ADS sensitivity is scaled, which changes how fast a turn looks on screen. Play a few sessions before you adjust the number.
